Сразу отмечу, что текст составлен для совсем начинающих, с облегчённой и поэтому не верной грамматикой (зато отлично подходит для отработки настоящего простого времени). Самое главное для вас - понять о чём история в целом, не заглядывая в словарь или переводчик. Для этого в скобочках рядом с некоторыми словами уже есть их перевод.
Окончание -s у некоторых глаголов появляется потому что они используются в 3 лице единственном числе. Если вы не понимаете что это такое, почитайте мою статью про настоящее простое время.
It’s hot. The sun shines (сияет). The sky is blue. Jen lives in Australia. It is the weekend. Jen is on the beach. She has a boyfriend, Rick. Rick and Jen’s friends are in the sea. They swim and surf (катаются на сёрфе).
– Hi, Rick! - says (говорит) Jane.
Rick is very happy. He has a new surfboard (доска для сёрфа). The surfboard is red and white. Rick’s favourite (любимый) sport is surfing.
(Rick) – I go to surf. My new surfboard is very fast. It’s great!
(Jen) – I go to swim and look at the fish underwater (под водой). See you later!
Jen puts on (надевает) her blue rubber fins. She puts the yellow mask on her face. The water is warm (тёплая). She dives (ныряет) under the water. She swims very quickly (быстро). She goes down and down. She can (может) see fish and plants (растения). The fish and plants are very beautiful (красивые).
Jen looks at the plants. There are tall (высокие) plants. There are small (маленькие) plants. Jen touches (трогает) the plants. Some plants are soft (мягкие). Some plants are hard (твёрдые).
Jen swims up. She gets air (воздух) and dives down under the water again (снова).
Suddenly (вдруг) she stops. She sees (видит) a dolphin. It can not swim. The dolphin is in a net (сеть). The dolphin can not swim up and get air. The beautiful, blue dolphin can die (умереть). The dolphin can not break (разорвать, сломать) the net.
Jen pulls (тянет) the net from the dolphin. The dolphin is free (свободен). The dolphin swims fast (быстро). The dolphin swims up and gets air. The dolphin looks down (смотрит вниз) at Jen. Then it swims away (прочь).
Jen is happy. She tells (рассказывает) Rick about the dolphin. Next day a lot of (много) people are on the beach. People don't surf because (потому что) the sea is calm (спокойное). Men, women and children are in the sea. They play and laugh (смеются). The lifeguard (спасатель) watches (смотрит) the sea and people. Suddenly, he shouts loudly (кричит громко).
The shark swims quickly. It is hungry (голодная). Its black fin (плавник) is above (над) the water. Everybody is scared (напуганы). Sharks are dangerous (опасные). They have long, sharp teeth (острые зубы). Everybody swims to the beach. Jen and Rick swim far way (далеко) from the beach. The shark swims to Rick. Jen is very scared. She shouts at Rick.
Rick sees the shark’s black fin above the water. The shark is thirty meters (30 метров) away. Jen and Rick swim to the beach. Now the shark is fifteen meters (15 метров) away. Jen can see the shark’s sharp teeth.
Suddenly, they see another (ещё один) fin in the water. A blue fin. It is a dolphin! It is the beautiful, blue dolphin. The dolphin swims to the shark. The dolphin hits (бьёт) the shark. The dolphin hits the shark again and again.
The shark swims away. Rick and Jen are safe (спасены).
– Look, Rick! It’s my blue dolphin!
– Thanks, dolphin! We are safe.
