a cheapskate ( жадина, скряга, жмот) - a mean person who doesn't like spending money. Если в компании есть тот, кто высчитывает миллилитры в коктейлях, чтобы было выгоднее, предлагает купить напитки по акции и берет себе бесплатный за "идею", смело называйте его cheapskate.
Example: Don't be such a cheapskate- it's your turn to buy drinks.
Не будь таким жмотом, твоя очередь покупать напитки.
a pain in the neck - an irritating, annoying person.
laid-back (на расслабоне, на чиле) - a relaxed person who doesn't get stressed or upset easily.
Example: I've never seen him worried or anxious in any way - he's so laid-back.
Никогда не видела его обеспокоенным или встревоженным чем-либо - он всегда на расслабоне.
the life and soul of the party ( душа компании, звезда на вечеринке) - someone who is energetic, and good fun during social occasions
Example: These brothers always rock, the life and soul of the party. (Эти братья всегда отжигают, настоящие звезды на любой вечеринке)
a party animal ( тусовщик) - someone who likes to attend parties often.
Example: Sara is out every Friday and Saturday. He's a real party animal. (Сара ходит на вечеринки каждую пятницу и субботу. Она настоящая тусовщица).
party pooper a person who doesn't like parties and always kills the atmosphere= killjoy = wet blanket
Example: Our IT specialists are party poopers, they don't go to corporate events and even if they come they stay aside. Unlike our accounting department! They are all party animals and party hard every time.
