Объяснения к уроку
I. Существительное с предлогом on отвечает на вопрос где? в значении находиться на чём-то.
Н а п р и м е р :
on the table — на столе
on the chair — на стуле
on the plate — на тарелке.
Существительное с предлогом at отвечает на вопрос где? в значении присутствовать где-нибудь.
Н а п р и м е р :
at the cinema— в кино
at the lesson— на уроке
З а п о м н и т е :
at home— дома
at school— в школе
употребляются без артикля the.
II. Существительное с предлогом of отвечает на вопрос кого, чего? Предлог of употребляется перед существительными, обозначающими предметы.
Н а п р и м е р :
a pair of shoes— пара туфель
the door of his room— дверь его комнаты.
Для одушевлённых существительных употребляется притяжательный падеж (см. объяснения к уроку 18).
