In December 2025, I was going to make a decision, but I didn't. Now it seems I have to. I've set up a channel on VK since the format is quite similar to TG, although I can't say I really like the idea of having a channel and a group on VK. Well, let's see how it goes...
Recently, I watched a film The Electrical Life of Louis Wain (released in 2021). I was surprised to find out that some of the very familiar images were real works of art by that extraordinary artist. Now, it seems to me that every image of a cat I see somewhere is painted by Louis Wain. So weird. The film is quite nice: it describes Wain’s life with all the drama and tragedy he experienced, including mental health problems. Benedict Cumberbatch is, as always, fantastic. I guess if you watch the film in English, you will get more out of it.

What do you know about the Yorkshire dialect? 🤔 Till today, I only knew the word “chuffed” as it’s written on a coaster I’ve got. My English-speaking friend sent me a picture about toasts not long ago. As you can see, it’s in the Yorkshire dialect. I decided it was time to find out more about this dialect. I’ve found a funny but amusing article. Hope you’ll like it.
