He already had several wives before and was known by promiscuous lifestyle. Despite this and the fact that Frida’s family was against this marriage, the wedding had happened (there was nobody there from the family except the father). Father told the fiance not to do that, because his daughter would be diseased for all her life, that she was not beauty but clever one...

Frida had the only one man of her life, who had appeared since she studied at school and had been in there until she died. He was the famous artist Diego Rivera. He was older more than 20 years than she was. That was he who convinced her in her talent when she just started to draw. He was constantly cheating on her, and she had an affairs not only with men but with women as well.
