The Neurosoft company presents to your attention Neuron-Spectrum-WEB - a new word in reviewing EEG examinations on any operating system directly in a web browser window.
Currently, modern programs for recording and viewing EEG examinations run under the Windows operating system. This imposes certain restrictions on viewing and analyzing recorded EEG examinations. This problem is especially noticeable when viewing EEG recordings remotely.
Neurosoft is pleased to present the first viewer of EEG examinations, which works directly in an Internet browser. To launch the EEG examination viewer, just follow the link.
Currently, this tool supports the following EEG examination formats:
The program allows you to view EEG examinations on any device running any operating system.
To view an EEG examination in a browser, simply open the EDF file or drag it with the mouse into the central area of the start page.
Note: a local EDF/BDF file opened for viewing is not transferred to any servers, but remains on the computer from which it is viewed.
Currently, the user interface is available in two languages: Russian and English.
In addition to the EEG signal itself, the program allows you to view examination events, synchronous video (up to two video cameras), and also print EEG traces.
To scroll through EEG signals, you can use the mouse wheel, cursor keys, PgUp and PgDn keys, as well as Home and End. There are tools for controlling the scale and sweep speed, measuring the amplitude and duration of waves. Additionally, the user can apply additional software filters to the EEG signal: high-pass filter, low-pass filter, rejector.
Using the context menu, you can control the visibility of derivations and set individual display and filtering settings for each channel:
To draw EEG traces, a special smoothing algorithm is used, which uses the capabilities of the graphics adapter to optimize the output of EEG signals on the computer screen.
Video
This video briefly describes the main capabilities of the EEG web viewer.
New EEG viewer can works in any web-browser even on your TV in the bedroom:
Conclusion
Thus, now routine EEG examinations and examinations with video in EDF format can be viewed on any device, on any operating system in your browser window. This feature will be especially useful for specialists who are involved in remote interpretation of EEG and PSG examinations.
Prospects and plans for further development
We plan to develop this tool in the future. Our plans:
- Support for other storage formats for EEG examinations (*.nspack).
- Adding a personal account for user authorization and the ability to store examinations in the cloud and access them from any device from anywhere in the world.
- Expansion of tools: remontage, mathematical analysis, preparation of reports.
- Support for other user interface languages.
