A beautiful gold bracelet from Roman Egypt, dating to around the 1st century CE. It was not worn on the wrist, as it was too heavy and uncomfortable. This type of bracelet, called an armlet, was worn on the arm above the elbow. Diameter: 10 cm, weight: 295 grams. Besuch im militärhistorischen Flugzeugmuseum Gatow hier steht u.a. die 2-cm-Flak 38. Eine verbesserte Version der 2-cm-Flak 30. Dieses Modell wurde ab 1939 von der Luftwaffe und dem Heer eingeführt. Die seltenere Version der Kriegsmarine hatte die Bezeichnung 2-cm-Flak C/38. Sie war eine Entwicklung der Mauserwerke in Oberndorf, die sich damit gegen den Konkurrenzentwurf 2-cm-Flak 35 von Rheinmetall durchsetzten. Als Standardmunition kam die Granatpatrone 20×138 mm B zum Einsatz. Daneben steht die 8,8-cm-Flak Modell 37, auch Acht-Acht genannt. Die Flugabwehrkanone war eine vorwiegend im Zweiten Weltkrieg gebaute und eingesetzte deutsche Flugabwehrkanone, die auch häufig gegen Bodenziele zum Einsatz kam da sie eine gute Reichweite und enorme Durchschlagskraft hatte um feindliche Ziele auszuschalten. #ww2 #spurensuche #history #geschichte #wehrmacht

Buran (Bypáh) was bigger bigger, wider, more powerful and obviously sending far more payloads than the American shuttle. But his biggest strong point that could possibly kill America was his 100% automated system. Buran only made one flight and it was an unprecedented success, she took off by herself, put into orbit by herself and returned to Earth by herself with no one on board.
