Текст для уровня А2 Maslenitsa in Russia🥞 Maslenitsa is a traditional Russian holiday that celebrates in the end of winter and the beginning of spring. It usually takes place in February or March, before Lent starts for Orthodox Christians. During this week-long festival, people enjoy eating pancakes (blini), which are made from flour, milk, and eggs. They symbolize the sun because they are round and golden. Maslenitsa is also a time for fun activities like sledding, ice skating, and playing games outside. On the last day of Maslenitsa, called Proshchnoe Voskresenye (Forgiveness Sunday), people ask each other for forgiveness to start the Lent period with a clean heart. There is an interesting thing in Russia that people in Russia do on the last day of Maslenitsa. A big straw doll (chuchelo) representing winter is burned at the end of the celebration. The straw figure, often dressed in old clothes, represents winter and cold weather. People gather around it, singing songs and dancing. Then, they set the effigy on fire, watching as the flames onsume it. The burning of the chuchelo symbolizes the farewell to winter and the arrival of spring. As the fire burns brightly, everyone cheers and feels a sense of renewal. It's a joyful moment filled with hope for the coming season's warmth and new beginnings. This holiday brings families and friends together to celebrate the changing seasons and look forward to warmer days ahead. Если понравился текст - оставьте реакцию ❤
