The second season of anime adapting Koharu Inoue’s The Duke of Death and His Maid manga just premiered in July 2023, and now it’s time to look ahead to the next. The after-school manga club at Magnolia Middle School in Delaware was a popular club bringing in 20 to 80 students who would read manga, talk about it, and check out anime. In order to get in the club, kids had to have written parental permission. However, the principal then banned all teen-rated manga from the school, and since the club was reading teen-rated manga, the club was forced to close. After being announced back in January, we have more info on the Tales of Wedding Rings anime. Based on the manga written and illustrated by creator duo Maybe, the series is set to premiere in January 2024. Along with that news came a couple of character trailers, including a look at Satou and Hime. It’s becoming more common for anime to become legally available to people overseas the same day the anime debuts in Japan. However, the anime is typically subtitled at first, so people who want to watch it dubbed will need to wait a little longer. That won’t be the case, however, with the upcoming season two of The Eminence in Shadow (a.k.a. Kage no Jitsuryokusha ni Naritakute! in Japanese).
