Sergey Pavlovich Korolev Sergey Pavlovich Korolev is a Soviet scientist and the creator of Soviet rocket and space technology. Sergey Korolev is a famous person in the field of science and space exploration. On October 4, 1957, the first artificial Earth satellite was launched from the Baikonur cosmodrome under the leadership of Sergei Korolev. On August 19, 1960, the Soviet dogs Belka and Strelka were sent into the orbit of our planet – the first animals to make a space flight. On April 12, 1961, the first human flight into space, cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin. Sergey Korolev also prepared for the flight into space: German Titov, Valentina Tereshkova and Alexey Leonov. Alexey Leonov became the first person who made a spacewalk. There is a documentary film about this event.  This person inspires me, because despite the difficulties of life, he did not stop working. During his imprisonment, he did not stop designing and developing his ideas about satellites and rockets. "Those who want to work are looking for funds, those who don't want to are looking for reasons," - Sergei Korolev said.  Sergey Pavlovich is a determined, ambitious, patriotic, responsible, very intelligent person. He's a strong personality.  I think everybody should know about this person, because he devoted his whole life to the development of science in the field of space, invented a lot of flying machines. With the help of his inventions, our science has made a big step forward.
