Why do vegans imitate meat? Imitation of animal exploitation products is developing and will develop even faster. Most people continue to feed their bodies with the dead and their secretions, but the demand for plant analogues is growing, attracting more and more attention, support and investment. So why do vegans need soy schnitzel and wheat steak? Veganism is about animals. Not about health. Not about the taste. About animals. And only about animals. An ethical attitude towards animals does not imply that a person should not like the taste of fried meat. People from infancy are fed with remains and processed masses from cow's milk. Naturally, as an adaptive organism of an adaptable person, any person gets used to his diet and strives to continue eating according to existing habits and traditions. By becoming a vegan, a person can continue to love all/some products of exploitation for taste. This is an ordinary state of affairs. Veganism is not about taste.⠀ On a traditional diet, people did not eat skins, guts, eyes and bones raw. People ate selected remains that are approved by society. Not raw, but thermally processed, with salt, sauces and other industrial food products that helped hide/change the real taste. Such nutrition is created in order to cause persistent cravings and the desire to eat often and a lot (overeating). In the 21st century, a vegan can eat plant analogues that do not use animals in the manufacture. This is the basic principle of an ethical lifestyle. Nothing else matters. Humanity is just beginning to take the first steps towards abandoning the genocide of animals and the destruction of the environment. People grew up on low-quality cadaveric nutrition, it is logical to assume that many people will be interested in trying the usual products in a vegetable format.
