What is a mistake?
Kate Burkova, Form 8A, School No. 1566 From our forefathers we inherited the proverb ‘Errare humanum est’ which means ‘To err is human’. It has existed for hundreds of years and is unlikely to die as people made, make and will make mistakes. But is it so bad? If the Leaning Tower of Pisa did not tilt, but stood absolutely straight, it would hardly have attracted crowds of tourists who come from all over the world to see it. And were it not for the mistake, who would have known about the tower? Would it attract millions of tourists every year? Or the history of one more mistake...
