You may be aware that Disney will soon be releasing a remake of The Lion King, using super up-to-date CGI and photorealistic animation technology. However, no matter how amazing the film is, it won't be as perfect/beautiful/realistic as two actual lions sharing a loving embrace. And according to a recent survey, Toy Story is the film that most of us still like to rewatch now we've 'grown up'. Nine out of ten adults admit that there's at least one film from their youth that they still return to. Scientists have uncovered the head of a prehistoric beast that lived 40,000 years ago. Experts believe the wolf-like animal dates back to the Pleistocene-era and was preserved by the freezing temperatures of the Siberian permafrost. The old decommissioned jet was taken to its new home in the Arabian Gulf by tugboats and has now been submerged ahead of the site opening later this year. The plane, which was built in 1981, is 70 metres long and will become one of the main attractions for the new underwater theme park. According to The National, it will rest at a depth of around 24 metres and will be positioned nose up in the water to allow novice divers access to the aircraft at shallower depths. The aircraft will become the centrepiece to the world's largest underwater theme park which will be situated close to Bahrain...

After the critically acclaimed first season, Netflix has ordered a second instalment to Russian Doll. Star Natasha Lyonne revealed the big news at Recode's Code Conference, telling the crowd: "Same show, just weirder. The character is a coder so it would be appropriate to have this be the time and place to say, yes. So very much yes, I would love to do [a second season]." The Netflix original is centred on the main character, Nadiya - played by Lyonne - who dies repeatedly, only to wake up again and again in the same place - the bathroom at her own birthday party...
