В этом посте я поделилась рекомендациями по сдаче IELTS Essay на 7+. Большего всего внимания привлек словарь на 1000 единиц, который я тренировала в Lingualeo. Прикладываю его здесь, но с оговоркой: просто так взять чужой словарь и бездумно гонять его на простеньких тренингах вряд ли даст ожидаемый результат. Без знания контекста и примеров употребления понимание не придет, и эффекта не будет. В своём словаре я добавляла примеры употребления из своих эссе или из Cambridge dictionary, но экспортировать их нельзя. Рекомендую проделать это упражнение для всех новых слов в словаре. Материал будет особенно полезен тем, кто уже набирал 6,5. Я сдала IELTS с 3его раза: моей проблемой было набрать 7 баллов за Writing. И хотя остальные оценки колебались от 7,5 до 9, по письму я никак не попадала в band 7. Я была не одна, и уже начинала поддаваться коллективному причитанию о картельном сговоре и жадности метрополий, как, наконец, получила 7.5 баллов.
