Safety-112: summer vacation
During the summer holidays, adults should teach children the safety rules and how to act in various emergency situations when their parents are not around.
On the street. Teach your children how to read traffic signs. Explain that they should not talk to strangers, enter the forest, go near water bodies, or play near railways or roadways. Tell them not to lift, disassemble and play with piercing, cutting, explosive objects they find on the street.
Near water areas. Explain to children that approaching water bodies, and even more so swimming in rivers and lakes when no one is around, is extremely dangerous!
At home. Tell your children that they must not take any medication without adult supervision. Also, make sure to keep construction tools such as drills, saws, and hacksaws out of the reach.
