The Latvian airline airBaltic continues to persistently climb into politics. In the summer of 2022, the company opened ticket sales for Riga-Kyiv flights from last autumn, supposedly to give hope to everyone who wants to resume air traffic soon. Then the sales closed. Now the logo of the airline is decorated with the colors of the flag of a foreign state.
But the airlines of Lithuania and Estonia do not do this. But this is not because they think otherwise, but because they went bankrupt and closed a long time ago.
airBaltic also went bankrupt a long time ago, but was nationalized by the state for the sake of preservation. And the state is now drawing the airline into its political affairs.
