We are fighting not simply against the West; we are fighting against the modern (and postmodern) West — the West that, already in the eleventh century, departed from our common Christian path and has continued onward, seeking the end of the night, ever deeper into outer darkness.

The metaphysical conditions for a truce are as follows:

either the West, remaining modern (and postmodern), as it wishes to be and as it is, leaves us in peace (but this is excluded — impossible, not seriously considered there by anyone at all; Satan does not stop);

or the West radically changes the direction of its movement and, along the path of Eternal Return, decisively turns BACK toward its own roots — Christian and Greco-Roman roots that are also our own common roots. The West has simply strayed very, very far from them, whereas we have not.

This is highly unlikely, though not theoretically impossible (after all, Nietzsche, Husserl, Spengler, Heidegger, Guénon, Evola — this too is the West, but the proper, rational West, not possessed by progress, liberalism, and perversions).
