April and the little Flower

Once upon a time, there was a month called April. April loved to play with rain and sunshine. Sometimes it was warm, sometimes it was cool. April was very happy because spring had come!
One day, April walked in a big garden. He saw a little flower. The flower was sad.
“Why are you sad?” asked April.
“I want to grow,” said the flower, “but I need water and sun. I don’t know when they will come.”

April smiled. “Don’t worry!” he said. “I can help you.”

First, April made it rain a little. The flower drank the water and felt better. Then, April let the sun shine brightly. The flower got warm and happy.

Every day, April gave the flower some rain and some sunshine. Slowly, the flower grew taller and taller. Its petals became bright red. It was a beautiful tulip!

“Thank you, April!” said the tulip. “You are the best month ever!”

April laughed and said, “You’re welcome! This is what I love to do — help nature wake up.”

From that day on, the tulip grew big and strong. And every spring, April visited the garden to help more flowers grow.
