Запомни: в английском языке многие глаголы “любят” свои предлоги. Ошибка в предлоге — частая причина недопонимания на борту.

🔹 to look AT — смотреть на

🔹 to speak TO — говорить с
🛟 The Captain spoke to the Chief Officer about the passage plan.
🔹 to listen TO — слушать
🛟 Listen to the VHF carefully during pilotage.
🔹 to laugh AT — смеяться над
🛟 Do not laugh at a cadet during safety training.
🔹 to complain OF — жаловаться на состояние / здоровье
🛟 The crew member complained of back pain after cargo operations.
🔹 to complain ABOUT — жаловаться на ситуацию / проблему
🛟 The Chief Officer complained about the poor weather conditions.
🔹 to answer (NO preposition!) — отвечать
