Where Souls Meet Again

Once a man from Switzerland asked me: Tell me something, Diana. Do you believe love is written in the stars, or do two people create it by choosing each other, again and again?
I responded as follows:

Once a man from Switzerland asked me: Tell me something, Diana. Do you believe love is written in the stars, or do two people create it by choosing each other, again and again?

I responded as follows:

I believe love is written in the stars long before two souls ever meet. Sometimes it feels as if the universe quietly arranges encounters, aligning hearts the way constellations align in the night sky. I have always felt that love is not something temporary — it is something eternal, something that exists beyond time and distance.

Perhaps that is why the idea of fleeting love has never truly resonated with me. I believe love should be lasting, deep, and meaningful — a connection that does not fade with seasons or circumstances. The ancient Egyptians believed that love follows us into the afterlife and even into the next life. They saw it as a bond stronger than death itself. And strangely, that thought feels very comforting to me.

I don’t want to scare you with such serious reflections, but there is something incredibly beautiful in the idea that we never truly lose the person meant for us. That somewhere, in this life or another, our souls recognize each other again. I like imagining that love is not just a chapter — it is a story without an ending.

To know that I will always have “my person,” someone to share warm days and quiet evenings with, someone whose presence feels like home — that is a dream I hold close to my heart. Not a dramatic or overwhelming love, but a calm, steady one. A love that feels like sunlight on your skin after a long winter.

Maybe love really is written in the stars. And maybe the stars are simply reminding us that some connections are meant to shine forever. ✨
