At noon, the wind became stronger. It ran around the houses and whistled on the roofs. Children laughed and flew kites. The wind played with the kites and made them fly high.
In the afternoon, the wind saw a sailboat on the sea. The sailboat couldn’t move. The wind said: «Don’t worry, I’ll help you!» It blew hard, and the sailboat started to move. The people on the boat waved and said: «Thank you, wind!»
By evening, the wind felt tired. It became calm and kind. It gently touched the flowers and sang a quiet song. The world grew quiet, and the stars came out.
The wind whispered: «Good night, everyone!» And it fell asleep until the next morning.
