They say if you work a lot, you are not lazy, implying by that that laziness is a very bad quality. Well, it is difficult to argue with that. Nobody likes lazy employees. At the same time, we remember that, as it is said, laziness moves the progress forward. A remote control is one of many examples to prove it: someone didn’t want to stand up and make two steps to change a TV channel, so they invented a device that allowed you to do that without leaving your comfortable sofa.
Personally, I believe that lazy people often work better just because they don’t want to spend time redoing something in case it has been done in a wrong way or not as it was expected. They tend to complete a task quickly and perfectly so they can relax and enjoy their free time.
