Today, I want to share my relaxing Sunday activities. I started the day by deciding to make a cake. I love chocolate, so I made a chocolate cake. After putting it in the oven, I decided it was time to go for a walk in the park. The weather was sunny, and it felt good to be in nature.
After my walk, I sat down to read a book. I chose a mystery novel that my friend recommended. The story was gripping, and I enjoyed reading it for about an hour. Feeling a bit hungry, I returned to the kitchen to cook dinner. I made pasta with tomato sauce, which is quick and tasty.
In the afternoon, I wanted to relax. I decided to watch a film. I chose a comedy because laughing always makes me feel happy. Later, when the room felt a bit messy, I decided to clean the room. It didn't take long, as tidying up can be quite satisfying.
In the evening, I felt creative, so I took out my pencils to draw a picture. I drew a cat, and it turned out quite nice. Then I realised I hadn't spoken to Sarah for a while, so I decided to call a friend. We chatted for about 30 minutes, catching up on life.
Later, I felt like moving a bit, so I went out to play football with my brother in the garden. After that, I felt a bit sweaty, so it was time to take a shower.
Before bed, I wanted to relax more, so I listened to music. I chose some jazz songs which made me feel calm. Finally, I sat down to write a letter to my grandma. I love sending her letters because she always writes back.
I realised I forgot to buy groceries, so I made a list for tomorrow. Before sleeping, I remembered to close the window, but I had to open the door first to take out the rubbish.
It was a simple, yet wonderful day, filled with little things that made me happy.
