Fra Filippo Lippe – The Mother and The Child with two Angels
In the painting, we can see a woman folding her hands and bowing her head in prayer, and two angels, who have brought her the Child. Although the plot of the painting is from the Bible, all the heroes of this painting are painted realistically, and only a barely perceptible halo over the head of the Woman shows that this isn’t a simple portrait. Although in the painting, there is the artist’s wife and two their children, the face of this young beautiful woman looks absolutely innocent.
На картине мы видим женщину, сложившую руки и склонившую голову в молитве, и двух ангелов, принесших ей Младенца. Хоть сюжет картины библейский, все герои этой картины нарисованы реалистично, и лишь едва заметный нимб над головой Мадонны показывает, что непростой портрет. Хотя на картине изображена жена художника и два их сына, лицо этой юной прекрасной женщины выглядит абсолютно невинно.
