🤝 Crimean Alupka and Turkish Bodrum may become twinned cities.
Such a proposal was made by a delegation from Turkey at the international conference "Tourism Potential - Betting on Heritage", which was recently held in Yalta.
The mayor of the Crimean resort capital, Yanina Pavlenko, spoke about this on the air of the radio "Sputnik in Crimea".
"We received similar proposals from Spain and Argentina. We will work on all these issues in the near future," she added.
According to her, from September 27 to 30, the World Cultural Summit will be held in Barcelona, where the International Association "United Cities and Local Governments of Eurasia" will send a declaration. The final decision on it will be made in China at the end of October.
