Now I’m going to talk about which type of buildings prevails in my hometown – old buildings or new ones.
In my opinion, in Moscow, there are more old buildings – basically, of the last or the one before last century. However, on the outskirts of Moscow, there are a lot of big districts with tightly standing to each other modern houses. In the centre of Moscow, there is a district, called City, where there are some skyscrapers, and besides, a lot of modern buildings of the infill development are scattered among old buildings all over the centre.
In conclusion, I would like to say that, from my point of view, there are more old buildings than modern ones in Moscow.
В вашем городе больше современных зданий чем старых традиционных?
Сейчас я собираюсь рассказать о том, каких зданий в моём городе больше – современных или старых.
На мой взгляд, в Москве больше старых зданий – в основном, прошлого и позапрошлого веков. Однако, по окраинам Москвы есть много больших районов с плотно-стоящими домами современной застройки. В центре Москвы есть район Сити, где находятся небоскрёбы, а также по всему центру разбросано много современных зданий точечной застройки среди старых строений.
В заключение, я хотела бы сказать, что, по моему мнению, в Москве есть больше старых зданий, чем современных.
