🚢ONE, the merger of Japanese shipping giants MOL, NYK and "K" Line, has not only expanded its fleet, but has done so with a bright accent - bright pink containers.
⚓️In February 2018, after 18 months of preparation, these eye-catching containers appeared in the world's major terminals. The first container ship, "ONE Stork", owned by NYK, carried 14,000 TEU.
In June of the same year, the new container ship "ONE Apus", the sixth vessel in the series, was launched at the Kure shipyard of Japan Marine United Corporation. It differs from its predecessors in its increased cargo space, achieved by minimizing the space allocated for the engine room.
"ONE Apus" is also equipped with a Crack Arrest system, which prevents the development of cracks in the hull - a technology that has become especially relevant after the incident with the container ship "MOL Comfort".

"ONE Apus" operates on the following route: Kaohsiung - Hong Kong - Yantian - Tsai Mep - Singapore - New York - Norfolk - Savannah - Charleston - New York - Singapore - Kaohsiung.
