I'm apolitical ("a" is another negative prefix meaning not to have interest in something or not to believe) and try not to discuss any political issues. But this time it's just a coincidence. I was looking for some interesting examples and came across with that post on one social media. Bear in mind, it's not my opinion
Anyway, we look at negative prefixes again today.
And, here are some examples with the prefix a-:
political - apolitical
theist - atheist
social - asocial
typical - atypical
moral- amoral
pathetic - apathetic
chromatic - achromatic (people use this word, although dictionaries say there isn't one)
BTW, prefix "a" can have other meanings rather than making the word negative.
For example, it can mean "on", "in", or "at":
abed = in bed
ashore = at/on the shore
atop = on top
It can also mean "in a state or condition":
afire = in the state or condition of being (on) fire
afloat = in the state or condition of being floating
Another meaning is "in a manner":
aloud = in aloud manner
along = in a long manner
