Trump is not right wing. He is supported by US working class. Trump is less and less liberal but aggressively libertarian and more and more illiberal. Tariffs’ politics is the way to reindustrialize America. I guess he is inspired by autarchy of great space theory by F.List.
But to secure autarchy he needs really big space. Hence claims on Canada and Greenland. All that makes sense in the context of List’s theory. Everybody who used List theory in history won. Bismark, Rathenau, Witte, Lenin. List himself was inspired by 19 century US politics.
Autarchy of big space is key tool in multipolarity. But Trump needs to crush Dems. They will not let him implement his ideas. There are serious doubts that liberal democracy is compatible with such great projects. 19 century style - maybe. Not 21 century globalist style.
