Any conventional aircraft consists of five main parts: the fuselage which is the body of the aircraft, the tail unit which provides stability in flight, the landing gear which supports the aircraft on the ground, engines which supply power for flight, and the wing. The wing generates enough lift to keep the aircraft in the air.
The aircraft has changed a lot since the Wright brothers’ first flight. And I think in the future we’ll see a lot of new modifications which will be safer and environmentally- friendly. The aircraft will be faster and more comfortable for the passengers and crew. Engines will be more reliable, powerful and economical so aircraft will be able to travel longer distances. New, lighter materials will be used and aircraft will carry more cargo and passengers. The aircraft will become more computerized so they will be operated by two crew members.
I fly AN-124-100/IL-76. It’s a big wide bodied freighter. It can carry different types of cargo including unique and oversized. It’s a high-wing monoplane with 4 turbojet (turbofan) engines and huge wingspan. There are several compartments in the fuselage – a flight deck, a cargo-compartment, a technical compartment (and a crew resting area).

have flown this type of aircraft for years. This is my favourite. I like it very much because it’s modern,
reliable and quite comfortable inside. We fly worldwide and perform mostly charter flights, transporting cargo from one country to another. Flying to different airports helps to keep our professional skills at a high level.
Some pilots say that passenger aircraft are more comfortable to fly because they are designed to carry people. I can agree with this but, on the other hand, when we carry passengers we may have problems with passenger baggage, sick or aggressive passengers. Carrying passengers is becoming more dangerous nowadays due to increasing level of air rage and terrorism. #aircraft
