Accompanying entrepreneurs in their growth and scaling, I would like to highlight 8 soft-skills - eight vital competencies that allow them to realize their plans and perceive their business as a source of energy, drive, and desired income. The space where an entrepreneur uses their strengths and maximizes their personal potential. At the same time, leaving enough time for rest, family, friends, sports and hobbies. These 8 soft-skills competencies are the basis for achieving the desired results.
Let's determine how well you are in these competencies at the moment.
1. Influence competency is the ability to manage your area of influence by focusing your thoughts and actions.
If you have this competency developed:
- you consciously exert influence at the levels: “Me - Team/Family - Business/Others - World”, even when external circumstances say that nothing (or almost nothing) depends on you. You are in control!
2. Competence “Contact with Self”.
This is a relationship with the world/reality through feeling and realizing oneself, connecting with oneself on four levels: physical, emotional, mental, meaning/spiritual.
If competencies are developed:
- entrepreneurial “flair” and intuition work for you and your business like a “compass” that will always point in the right direction;
- you feel others/world at your fingertips, so you make accurate and effective decisions;
- no external circumstances can lead you off the right path;
- you hear your inner call and follow the chosen path.
3. Competence “Energy”.
The energy of an entrepreneur-leader is equal to the energy of the company. The more energy, the better the results, the more profits, the more impressive the scale of the business. The ability to manage one's energy and the energy of the team is a vital skill for an entrepreneur!
If the competence is developed:
- you spend less energy and time on the same amount of tasks, freeing up time and energy for other areas of your life. They want to do business with you!
4. Competence “Strengths”.
Knowing your strengths is the foundation of your personality, thanks to which you easily, freely and effortlessly realize tasks of any scale.
If the competence is developed:
- you “play” your strengths in business and realize your potential to the maximum. You are in your place!
5. Competence “Game”.
Play is a way of relationship with the world. Your own game is a clear understanding: “Who am I?”, “Where am I going?”, “Why do I need to go there?”. Playing someone else's game, you will still lose. Who doesn’t have his own game is forced to play by someone else's rules.
If competence is developed:
- curiosity and interest in doing things offset any stress and negativity;
- you fill your life with lightness and creativity, you can handle any scale;
- you live with interest. Your life is filled with events, achievements, pleasure;
- money and desired income are just a “side effect” of your unique game. You win in any case!
6. Antifragility Competency.
This is the ability to strengthen “about crisis”! This is the ability to develop, harden and become qualitatively stronger when faced with difficulties.
If the competence is developed:
- you come out of any stress and crisis with a qualitatively new, stronger personality - on the one hand;
- more human and open - on the other hand.
7. Competence “Meanings”.
Understand “Who am I?”, “Where am I going?” “Why?”, ‘Why is this important to Me?’ even in routine everyday activities and tasks.
If competence is developed:
- you clearly know what you want and how you can get there;
- you have enough energy and motivation to realize your plans on any scale.
8. Partnership Competency.
This is the ability to build win-win relationships in circles of influence Team/Family - Business/Others - World.
If the competence is developed:
- the speed of decision making increases, which in turn leads to multiple growth in business;
- there are no losers in your environment - everyone wins;
- a different quality of doing business and living life!
Check on a scale from 1 to 10 how much these competencies are manifested in you, where 1 - you just heard about their existence, and 10 - you are already a Master.
