Business breakfast with Rotary Club Moskau Metropol

March 11, 2025 – Moscow, Russia The Rotary Club Moskau Metropol held a business breakfast at Swissôtel. The guest speaker was Kris Koschmeider, a businessman and and engineer from Germany. He shared a presentation about his recent experiences in the Taiga, where he spent the previous week exploring the habitat of the world’s northernmost tiger—the Amur tiger. This was Kris's first visit to Russia, and he came specifically to participate in an eco-tourism initiative aimed at raising awareness about the challenges this endangered species faces. Kris shared that the highlight of his journey was visiting the local village of Arsenevo, home to the Old Believers. He was deeply impressed by their lifestyle, hard work, and resilience in the face of hardships. The smiles on the children’s faces, the fresh air of the Taiga, and the breathtaking beauty of the Amur River left a lasting impression on him.

During this warm and engaging event, facilitated by Svetlana Frolova, we all had the chance to reaffirm our shared dream—that soon, life will return to normal.

A heartfelt thank you to the organisers and to all Rotary Club Moskau Metropol members for this wonderful opportunity and invitation.
