The evening began with a guided tour of the historical Losev Museum, highlighting the life and legacy of Aleksei Losev (1893–1988), one of Russia's greatest 20th-century philosophers. Losev was a polymath—a philosopher, philologist, and musicologist—renowned for his contributions to the philosophy of myth, aesthetics, and symbolism. His seminal work, Dialectics of Myth, stands as a cornerstone of Russian intellectual thought, reflecting his commitment to understanding the metaphysical underpinnings of reality. Despite enduring persecution under Soviet rule, including imprisonment and the banning of many of his works, Losev’s dedication to truth and intellectual freedom remained unshaken.

Guests explored the house’s historical significance, learned about the lives of talented Russian individuals who faced oppression before the revolution, and marveled at the one-of-a-kind Philosophical Stairway, a symbolic representation of intellectual ascent. The tour offered deep insights into Losev’s efforts to inspire freedom of thought and the joy of intellectual inquiry through the library’s vast collection.

The evening continued with refreshments, featuring champagne and oysters, followed by a beautiful concert curated by poet Olga Sveshnikova. The program included performances by Alexey Sidorov on guitar and Andrei Pak on piano, adding to the night's charm.\

The concert was met with enthusiastic applause, and the audience was reluctant to let the performers leave. The event concluded with a shared resolve to meet more often and create additional performances for Moscow’s international community, defying the challenges and limitations of our times.

As the evening unfolded, a deeper message resonated: some experiences transcend boundaries, reminding us of the quest for truth and the power of co-creating a unique reality filled with good-natured, honest individuals who can inspire others toward a better worldview.
