❗️An inspection of the internal affairs agencies revealed “significant omissions” in the implementation of migration control, Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov said in the Federation Council. “It was largely for these reasons that there was no up-to-date information about the status and movements of foreigners around the country, and their exit from our country was not ensured,” he said. At the request of the Prosecutor General's Office, the work of the Ministry of Internal Affairs bodies implementing migration control was adjusted, as a result of which the number of identified crimes related to illegal migration increased by 70%, Krasnov reported. @americancrimea
