The girl was sitting on the floor and playing with her toys. It was late in the evening, and her mom hadn't returned yet.

Suddenly the door to the apartment creaked and opened. Someone came in there. But the girl did not hear this sound. But then the door to her room opened a crack and the girl screamed.

A dark purple wolf towered over her. His fur was disheveled, as if it had never been combed. His body looked strange:the chest looked like a purple stripped top, the palms and shoulders looked like short sleeves and gloves. The legs were like pants that ended at the knees, and the feet were like shoes. The tail was covered with thick fur, despite the fact that it was somewhat similar to a cat's, but by the middle the purple fur ended. In places where there was no suit, the animatronic endoskeleton was visible. The only part of the body that was not damaged was the head, on which there were horns, something similar to cat ears, bangs fell on the right eye, and there was a spot on the left cheek, similar to the sign of the peak suit. But the scariest thing about the robot were the eyes:they were black, with red narrow pupils, and they seemed to glow.

— Who are you? — the girl asked, looking at this unprecedented creature with fear.

— It doesn't matter. — to the surprise, the animatronic replied. His voice sounded like a gloomy, cruel, charismatic leader, the leader of the empire, and not a half-broken robot. — Your life will end soon.

— Why?! — the girl was scared — I didn't do anything to you!

— That's right, you didn't do anything to me. — The wolf said gloomily — But he wants you to die. He'll sell your internal organs to some faggots, and spend his money on all sorts of bullshit. You miserable bastard,..

— Is someone forcing you to do such bad things?! But you don't have to do that!

— I know, and I think I'll make an exception for you. He's not trying to control me, and so you're lucky.

Then the crackling of burning wood was heard, and the wolf and the girl ran out of the room.

They saw a burning tablecloth on the table and a dilapidated kitchen on fire. "Lightning struck here." — the wolf guessed. The tiles near the sink peeled off, some fell to the floor. The chairs had fallen and were also on fire. Snow fell on the fire, but could not extinguish it, and melted, turning into water, but even it could not extinguish the fire and simply evaporated.

— What should we do?! — the girl asked in a frightened voice.

— Run! — the wolf answered her and rushed down, and the girl ran after him. They went down the stairs for a very long time, and finally found themselves at the bottom.

— Now go outside. The animatronic told her. — The locals probably called the fire department, or whoever it is necessary to call in such cases.

— What about you? — the girl asked — I can't leave you alone!

— Now. — the wolf called back, and suddenly he began to flicker.

After blinking, a young man of about fourteen stood in front of the girl. His hair was hidden under a hood with horns like cat ears, and dark glasses appeared on his eyes. He was dressed all in black, had torn jeans on his feet, and sneakers were without laces.

— Now let's go. — said the wolf in his new appearance.

— Wow, how did you do that?! — the girl exclaimed in surprise — Are you a wizard?!

— The king does not reveal his secrets. — was the answer, and they went out into the street. Fortunately, no one noticed them, as all the people who were there were looking at the firefighters extinguishing the fire. As soon as they came around the corner, the wolf stared at the girl.

"Can you promise me something?" - he asked.

— What can I promise you? the girl asked.

— Swear by all stripes that you will never tell anyone what you saw.

- why? "What is it?" she asked.

— No one will believe you. They'll stare at you like you're crazy. And also, I have reasons not to let your parents and everyone you know know about me. So swear and keep your oath, otherwise I will change my mind and there will be no mercy.

— I swear by all stripes, who will not tell anyone what I saw! — the girl said solemnly. — And what are the reasons?

— When you grow up, you'll probably understand. — said the wolf, and without waiting for the question disappeared into the darkness.
