What is a mistake?

It has existed for hundreds of years and is unlikely to die as people made, make and will make mistakes. But is it so bad? If the Leaning Tower of Pisa did not tilt, but stood absolutely straight, it would hardly have attracted crowds of tourists who come from all over the world to see it. And were it not for the mistake, who would have known about the tower? Would it attract millions of tourists every year? Or the history of one more mistake. Did you know that the microwave oven, which now you can find in almost every home, also appeared by mistake. In fact, there are many similar examples, which once again proves the fact that it is possible and even necessary to make mistakes, and that while making mistakes, we develop our knowledge and become wiser. Me and my peers are representatives of Generation Z and almost all of us want to realise our potential in life. And this process requires freedom and cannot take place under conditions of total control, under the threat of inevitable punishment.

Therefore, it is important to accept the fact that mistakes are inevitable. This means that you need to come up with a way to melt them into something useful and effective.

So, dear adults, dear parents and teachers, don’t punish us for making mistakes!
