This article is about the postindustrial culture which is being formed in some countries. With the transition to more advanced computer technologies and the basic principles of the social organisation to provide everyone with various social benefits, it will be easier to increase the social mobility of the people and to lessen the social strain in the society.
It is clear that nothing disappears in the culture but remains in the family sphere, in social or religious groups. A number of serious social matters linked with global communication have been resolved. However, the problem of the cultural competence has arisen due to the atmosphere of the excessive information.
Since the main product of the society has become information, this stage has been called informative. Digital computer technologies have become the breakthrough in the development of this function. So, the current postindustrial stage is characterised by the abundance and the use of the knowledge.
Due to a lot of crises in the world people have not adapted to the new technical possibilities yet. And according to some postindustrial countries education will be divided into high tec and people who are able to get it and “others” who will be so-called “support staff”. These “others” try to express themselves taking part in different activities connected with extremism which is very dangerous.
This tendency bothers the principles of multiculturalism and social equality.
In the art of the postindustrial epoch there are no predominant styles nowadays. Everything is going to be changed. To sum up, the main issue is what the post informative society will be. Nobody knows.
