Minecraft has fixed a bug that has been following players for 8 years

In the popular Minecraft constructor with the latest update, they suddenly fixed a bug that had existed in the game for eight years. For the first time, gamers asked to fix it back in 2012.

The error is not critical: when the snow covered blocks of dirt with grass, podzol or mycelium, the game used the standard texture of the dirt, while visually these blocks could differ from it. The discrepancy was first noticed by Minecraft fans on October 31, 2012. Then the developers assigned the error a low priority status - and, apparently, forgot about it. They were honored to fix the annoying bug just now.

Recently, we talked about a group of enthusiasts who are trying to recreate Middle-earth in Minecraft - the world of "The Lord of the Rings". Fans of the J.R.R. universe Tolkien has been poring over this map for over six years and has provided an impressive demonstration of what they have been able to achieve over the years.
