Children never find repetition boring. On the contrary, they are excited to watch the same cartoon again, to play the same game again, or to read the same book again. Every time they look at the SAME information they see and learn NEW things.
Adults find repetition boring. They assume they already know so much....that it's impossible for them to learn anything NEW when looking at the SAME piece of text.
In this video, I talk about the value and the meaning of "iterations" when learning, maintaining, and improving a skill.
Repetitions (as iterations) are essential when we learn. If we repeat the same thing exactly the way we did it last time, we're not learning anything. Mindless repetitions have nothing to do with conscious iterations.
