Вместо «YES»:
•Certainly – Определенно
Example: “Do you really believe he will come?” – “Certainly!”
•I’m in – Я в деле; я в игре
Example: “Mike, you have to decide right now whether you go with us!” – “Take it easy, dude! I’m in!”
•Exactly so – В точку; именно так; «в яблочко» и т.д.
Example: “Do you mean I can pass an exam?” – “Exactly so!”
•Naturally – Естественно; очевидно; на самом деле; натурально
Example: “John will be a good husband for my sister, won’t he?” – “Naturally!”
•Most likely – Скорее всего; должно быть так
Example: “I’m sure we will be able to manage these problems and bring our company out of crisis!” – “Most likely to be so, my friend!”
Вместо «NO»:
•No way – Ни в коем случае. Довольно неформальное выражение, присущее разговорному английскому
Example: “Jimmy, can I take your car for today?” – “No way, Kate! Frank told me how you drive.”
•I think I will pass – Пожалуй, я пропущу; это без меня; я не буду и т.д.
Example: “Please make your bets.” – “I think I will pass for a while.”
•Not a bit – Ничуть; совсем; «ни капли»; нисколько
Example: “Are you offended at me?” – “Not a bit! Don’t worry!”
•Absolutely – Безусловно; абсолютно; полностью и т.д.
Example: «We must remake this project – we were absolutely wrong when we had trusted that guy!»
•I doubt it – сомневаюсь
Example: “So tell me – are you happy with her?” – “I doubt it…”
