Ещё один интересный семинар на кооперативном форуме был по блокчейну. Семинар проводил айтишник и это сразу почувствовалось, ведь была очень чёткая презентация и мы начали с разминки знаний по блокчейну. Разминка с вопросами проходила не устно, как обычно, а мы все зашли на сайт, подключились к игре и тут же стали все отвечать на вопрос. Уровень вовлечения был максимальный, ведь время на ответ не много, верные ответы тут же выводятся на экран и сразу идёт рейтинг аудитории и ты видишь свой уровень. Вот такая вот геймификация. Вот, вроде, простой опрос, а какой эффект. На заметку учителям. Реализовали через Kahoot.com.
Воодушевление по блокчейну понятны - ему пропето много гимнов. У меня же было много вопросов по внешним эффектам блокчейна. Во-первых, кто и где будет всё это хранить? Это же мощности постоянные, которые растут и растут, ведь записи только прибавляются, а старые не удаляются, а лишь дополняются. Это просто запрограммированный экологический кризис. Во-вторых, мечта о децентрализации одних входит в противоречие с мечтой о централизации, тотальном контроле и погашении реальной демократии. В-третьих, есть риски, что технология будет использована во вред (привет, переходу даркнета в крипту: обнал, оружие, наркотики, спекуляции и др.).
По России мы видели и сколько общественного внимания и энергии может съесть эта тема, и какая это может быть питательная среда для спекуляций и мошенничества, и как нал, особенно с китайских серых потоков, перешёл в крипту. Мы видели и моду на майнинговые фермы и сжирание электричества - и очень жёсткую посадку, когда произошла коррекция.
Аналогии с кооперативами были прямые. Децентрализованное управления, владение, голосование, контроль. Как на уровне планеты много трудностей и вызовов в таком "идеальном" управлении, так и на уровне отдельных кооперативов проблем хватает. Ведь демократическое управление, помимо очевидных плюсов, несёт и риски долгих согласований, нелучшего отбора и ответственности голосующих, проблемы безбилетника, проблемы индивидуальных различий и др. А в эпоху стремительных изменений такие промедления могут иной раз быть критическими.
Тренер сам сейчас работает в известном индийском айти-офшоре - Бангалоре и мы потом ещё не раз обсуждали многие темы, встречаясь за вегетарианским столом. В своё время я собирался поступать на факультет криптографии академии ФСБ: подготовил математику (спокойно решал их вступительные), подготовил ОФП (по утрам до первого урока в школе ходил на стадион и тренировал кросс и спринт), но не дали разнарядку с области и дали понять, что "с улицы" не берут в самую могущественную "корпорацию".

Another interesting workshop at the cooperative forum was on the blockchain. The seminar was conducted by an IT specialist and it was immediately felt, because there was a very clear presentation and we started with a warm-up of knowledge on the blockchain. The warm-up with questions didn’t take place verbally, as usual, but we all went to the site, connected to the game and immediately began to answer the question. The level of involvement was maximum, because the response time is not much, the correct answers are immediately displayed on the screen and the audience rating is immediately on and you see your level. The inspiration for the blockchain is understandable - we sang a lot of hymns. I had a lot of questions about the external effects of the blockchain. First, who and where will store all this? These are constant powers that grow and grow, because records are only added, and old ones are not deleted, but only supplemented. This is just a programmed environmental crisis. Secondly, the dream of decentralization alone contradicts the dream of centralization, total control and repayment of real democracy. Thirdly, there are risks that the technology will be used to the detriment (hello, the transition of darknet in the crypt: cash out, weapons, drugs, speculation, etc.).
In Russia, we saw how much public attention and energy this topic can eat, and how it can be a breeding ground for speculation and fraud, and how cash, especially from the Chinese gray streams, turned into a crypt. We saw a fashion for mining farms and the consumption of electricity - and a very hard landing when a correction occurred.
There were direct analogies with cooperatives. Decentralized management, ownership, voting, control. Just as there are many difficulties and challenges at such a “perfect” government at the planetary level, there are enough problems at the level of individual cooperatives. After all, democratic governance, in addition to obvious advantages, also carries the risks of lengthy approvals, bad selection and responsibility of voters, problems of a free rider, problems of individual differences, etc. And in an era of rapid change, such delays can sometimes be critical.
The trainer himself now works in the famous Indian IT-offshore - Bangalore, and then we have discussed many topics more than once, meeting at a vegetarian table.
