In previous issues of our magazine we wrote about the four factors of muscle growth. The process of accelerating the construction of new myofibrils in the MOU is possible only in case of their simultaneous inclusion. The factors are:
1. The supply of amino acids in the cell;
2. Increase the concentration of anabolic hormones in the blood;
3. Increasing the concentration of free creatine in MV;
4. Increasing the concentration of hydrogen ions in MV.
However, among readers, there are many questions on this topic. Somehow these arguments they are not entirely convincing. Many still continue to firmly believe that the main reason of launching the construction of new protein molecules is a tiny myofibrils obtained during training. In the article "Micro trauma. Are they the main cause of muscle growth?" we carefully considered this question. Any difference on the growth of MV micro trauma does not have. It is high time to abandon this delusion. Modern research is regularly confirmed. For example, on the website of the National center for biotechnology information www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov the data of research 2011, which showed that damage in the muscles during exercise had no effect on growth. Study group with minimal damage (which was measured by identifying the level of creatine kinase, as well as subjective experiences-presence of post-workout pain) showed a similar growth of strength and muscle mass, as well as a similar increase in the level of growth factor IGF-1Еа and mRNA.
So readers are referred to the work by Vadim Protasenko "How to grow muscles". The author citing numerous studies concludes that the multi nucleation of muscle fibers suggests that the volume of muscle fibers which is capable of serving one cell nucleus is limited. And also suggests that the division of satellite cells and an increase in the number of nuclei in muscle fiber, not acceleration "of protein synthesis existing nuclei", is the cause of the hypertrophy of the muscles. He also concludes that containing testosterone drugs should increase the number of nuclei in muscle fibers.

Iron World: Hi Viktor! What can you say about this work of Vadim Protasenko?
Victor Seluyanov: Hello. For me, the facts mentioned in this work, was in a sense the news, because in the usual literature about it is not a word. I looked at the results of the studies referenced by the author, and it was quite interesting, but not revolutionary.
I have not studied this question, because, according to the literature, biosatellite is an inert cell, waiting for MV to be injured, and only then . Vadim Protasenko opened my eyes to the fact that the idea exists that it biosatellite stem cells, and they perform two functions, one to create the core, and the second is to create additional muscle fibers. The new MV created in the special conditions, as a result of the traumatic impact of MV irreversibly damaged. But the production of bio satellite new kernels is an interesting question. The author referred to the thesis Kartoshkiny N. L.(2010), Turtikova O. V. (2011) , I looked at those abstracts. From these works it follows that the main factor in the formation of new nuclei from stem cells is the frequency of pulsation or the excitation of muscle fibers. In our case, this weight training. Any strength training should lead to an increase in the number of cores. But apparently there is some feedback. The number of nuclei can not grow indefinitely. Protasenko all time points, and correctly indicates that there is a direct relationship between the individual and the core and the quantity of the cellular substance they accepted. When the number of cores exceeds this amount, it is likely that there are some inhibitory effects, the mechanisms are still unknown, they suspend the process of formation of new nuclei. In the absence of activity of the muscle fiber decreases the number of nuclei and biosatellites. But in itself, the formation of nuclei is not the formation of myofibrils. The myofibrils have to start new. And for this the concept regarding the fact that the hormones begin to influence the formationя of I-RNA , as was and remains the most important. The disadvantage of these dissertations is that they studied the impact of mechanical factor stretching the muscles in the form of stretching of the flex or muscles of the ankle joint and holding this state in a plaster cast for a few days. In this case there is the formation of nuclei. But the animal is in a constant state of stress, isolation stress hormones, so the increasing concentration of hormones is probably the leading factor. However , the effect of the main hormone testosterone in these thesis have not been considered.
