The athlete has long been satisfied with the championship in the competition "Mr. Avtralya" (1989 and 1990), until in 2013 won the title "Mr. Universe" according to NABBA. Lee Priest's updated training program has brought him not only the title of champion, but also a lot of fans - imitators.

Lee Priest was a little tall, but had an excellent genetics that allowed him to gain muscle mass even at such an early age. Already at the age of 14 he went on the podium of competitions among juniors and won them, despite the fact that among the competitors were guys 3-4 years older than him.

Lee Priest training

Young Lee read sports literature, especially Muscle & Fitness and Flex magazines. He loved Arnold, he liked Tom Platz and Eddie Robinson. Lee himself has always been an extraordinary person, able to surprise with his shocking deeds. The evidence of this is that he dyed his hair white to be like Tom Plaza. The athlete also loved the comics about the superman he was imitating, even as an adult.

His mother was bodybuilding too, and when the guy was 15 years old, offered him to perform on stage together. They did it and they became the first. In such a pair they performed more than once.

The first serious competition in bodybuilding was "Sydney Bodybuilding Classic", which took place in 1986. In this tournament he won and learned his professional card according to IFBB. Victory, which brought him popularity - this is "Mr. Australia" from 1989 to 1991 (3 years in a row). Lee Priest had many ups and downs on the professional stage. He repeatedly performs at the main bodybuilding tournament "Mr. Olympia", but the result does not rise above the 6th. The athlete himself believes that his short stature is to blame. Lee leaves bodybuilding early, not just because he is disappointed in him, but simply because he realizes that this is not his way of life. At that time, he was already actively involved in car sports and set several speed records. Lee was gradually being enticed by the races. Lee's last tournament in his career was his performance at the 2006 Australian Grand Prix competition, where he took second place. For some time, Lee Preece was married to a professional bodybuilder, Katty LiFrancos. They seemed to have been created for each other. They were comfortable, and they trained together all the time. But for unknown reasons the pair broke up.

There were scandals and quarrels with IFBB in the sportsman's career. He tried to perform in another federation, but it did not lead to anything good. Not so long ago, the champion surprised everyone with a huge tattoo on his entire body, including his face. But we have already talked about the uniqueness of this athlete. Nevertheless, in his normal life, he is a good man, who actively participates in charity and sends not small sums of money twice a year to distribute lunches for homeless people.

Whatever it is, Lee will be remembered forever in the history of bodybuilding. He is a very colorful athlete, whose physique does not have any athlete to this day. At the height of 160 centimeters, he jammed the scales at 130 kilograms and was furiously physically strong.

The triceps monster, as his fellow athlete Lee Priest, is very charismatic and nicknamed Blonde Myth. To match his nickname, Priest dyes his hair in platinum, covers the body with tattoos and in every way condenses interest around his person. In addition to the love of triceps exercise, the bodybuilder has two other features. The first is the love of racing and as a bodybuilder, Priest has been trained as a racing car pilot, winning the 2006 Ring Race Championship (with several awards in this field). The second is the small height of the bodybuilder, only 163 cm, but thanks to this, he is one of the most powerful undersized athletes in the world.
