The level of development and manifestation of special endurance depends on a number of factors:
1. general endurance;
2. Rapidity of consumption of intramuscular energy resources;
3. Of particular importance is the ability of the athlete to continue to exercise when fatigued due to the manifestation of volitional qualities;
4. Techniques of mastery of motor action, associated with rationality, efficiency of technique and tactics, i.e. technical and tactical skills.
5. Possibilities of the nervous-muscular apparatus:
1. Speed capabilities (speed and flexibility of working muscles);
2. Coordination abilities (accuracy of movements);

3. Strength qualities and development of other motor skills;
Special endurance is classified:
1. According to the signs of motor action, with the help of which the motor task is solved (for example, jump endurance);
2. According to the signs of motor activity, in the conditions of which the motor problem is solved (for example, game endurance);
3. Signs of interaction with other physical qualities (abilities) necessary for successful solution of a motor problem (for example, strength endurance, high-speed endurance, coordination endurance, etc.).
However, there are no motor actions that would require some form of endurance in its purest form. In the performance of any motor action in one way or another find expression of various forms of endurance. Each form of endurance, in turn, may include a number of species and varieties. Naturally, endurance is unique in different sports. In practice, it is often called endurance speed, game, swimming, power, jump, etc. The analysis of literary sources shows that now it is possible to name more than 20 types of special endurance.

The high-speed endurance is shown basically in the activity showing the raised requirements to speed parameters of movements in zones of sub maximal and maximum capacity of works, during long time without decrease in efficiency of actions.
Power endurance is the ability to perform work for a long time without reducing its effectiveness, requiring a significant manifestation of force. Secondly, it is the ability to overcome a given power voltage for a certain period. Depending on the mode of muscle operation, static and dynamic strength endurance can be distinguished.
Static strength endurance — the ability to maintain muscle tension for a long time without changing the posture. Usually only separate muscle groups work in this mode. Here there is an inverse relationship between the magnitude of the static force and its duration — the greater the force, the shorter the duration.
Dynamic strength endurance is usually determined by the number of repetitions of an exercise and significant muscle tension at a relatively low rate of movement. With age, the strength endurance to static and dynamic forces increases.
Coordination endurance is endurance, which is manifested mainly in motor activity, characterized by a long time of performing a variety of complex technical and tactical actions (sports games, gymnastics, figure skating, etc.)
