Staff
At the beginning I would like to note that the legal side of the issue is not covered here will be. You have to decide how to formalize your relationship with your employees
Employees: whether to enter into a permanent/temporary employment contract, to hire self-employed persons or to choose any other way. It is a question of managing personnel and payroll.
Where to look?
As banal as it sounds, but it is best to look on the most popular board announcements. People respond fairly quickly, so finding the first candidates can be done in one or two weeks. In your job description, try to make sure you are competent and describe clearly all job descriptions, work schedules and salaries. As an example, you can take the competitors' ads. Place your information, and you will get a very tolerable vacancy.
Try to organize everything so that candidates come to the interview in for one day. Negotiations take about 15 to 20 minutes. During this time, the person will be able to talk about their work experience and skills, and you will have time to ask the necessary questions.
Keep paper and a pen at hand to make notes. This is very helpful when considering hiring.
Pizzaiollo Chef
When hiring chefs, ask about your experience in the catering industry. If a person comes from this field, he or she should be familiar with hygiene rules, how to keep journals and do the general cleaning. In addition, he must also have a working clothes and a health book.
Show the candidate the kitchen. Tell us what and where is it and give an example "front of the job."
From my own experience, I can say that it is better to pay the salary not for a month, but for a shift. For example, 1000 - 1500 rubles for going to work (the amount may be different in of addiction to the city).
Operator
It's easier here. The candidate should only answer calls and messages, and to give orders to the kitchen and hand over the ready-made pizzas to the couriers. Work does not require of any special skills, so the minimum wage can be around 10 000 rubles.
Courier
Hire drivers who have already worked in delivery, so they have the idea of work. The recommended driving experience is at least three years (without accidents). So you can save your nerves, avoid disputes and other unpleasant of situations. As a rule, drivers are also paid in shifts.
We follow the example of one of the most popular pizzeria chains: payment per hour expectations - 70 rubles, for an order - 60 rubles. One courier can get up to 1500 rubles for 10 hours of work.
It is more profitable to invite couriers not for the whole day, but for a specific time: say, one courier
- from 10:00 to 16:00 (when there are few orders), two or three couriers
- from 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Do not look for many couriers right after the opening. If you drive yourself, it is better!
Hire one courier during peak hours and help him with the delivery of orders.
In general, I think it's important to be involved in the work process at the beginning of the journey, from pizza preparation and order receipt to delivery and payment acceptance. If you are ready to make pizza or deliver it in the initial stages, you should definitely take that's on yourself. This will help you to save some money, which can be later spent on advertising.
In connection with the question of working with the staff I want to give some advice, which potentially useful in the early stages of your work.
- - If you have no idea how to make pizza and can't do it yourself
Train staff in basic skills, take a person with work experience (from six months). During the interview, ask him which institutions he worked in, how the work was going in the kitchen and what responsibilities he had. Ideally each candidate should be given a pizza dough blank so that he's with you. Tried to roll it out/stretch it out. So you can test his skills and the time taken to complete the mission.
