Introduction.
Behind the beautiful word, "ART-THERAPY" hides much more serious things than it is customary to think. The usual point of view on the method of treatment by means of artistic creativity is as follows: if you drive a brush on canvas, shaken nerves say thank you. A more informed part of the population is aware of the various art tests that can analyze the mental state of a person and help psychiatrists and psychotherapists in diagnosing diseases.
Unfortunately, the level of awareness of this area of psychotherapy still leaves much to be desired. And in fact, it is a new complex of means, which allows solving many problems, which were used earlier by especially talented therapists and doctors, very successfully. Now ART THERAPY is becoming more and more important.
A huge contingent of doctors is beginning to realize the role and scale of natural forces embedded in man. That's why Art Therapy occupies a place worthy of its significance in the complex of means aimed at restoring human health.
The purpose of this study is to define art therapy, to analyze the possibilities of art therapy and art therapy techniques.
In accordance with the aim of the study, the following tasks were defined:
1. To consider the theoretical foundations of art therapy;
2. Analyze art therapy in group sessions;
3. Consider the content and meaning of art therapy classes;
The object of study and research are the processes occurring during art therapy classes;
The subject of the study is the basics of building a system of art therapy classes.

The second paragraph deals with the development of activities to conduct group sessions of "Art Therapy" on the example of students in the final grades.
The chosen topic of the essay is interesting because psychotherapy is identified with the art of winning and the ability to achieve the set goal.
§. 1. Conceptual foundations of "Art therapy".
1.1 Excuses into history.
The formation of a reasonable person is connected with the development of gestures, mimics, pantomime, dance, rock art - the international language of images. Art was created for the purpose of communication, as a means of communication, as a kind of emotional language. The prototype of modern art therapy has been preserved in archaic forms of art - in folk art. Here, the most direct expression is the symbolic language of the "collective unconscious". Bent on symbolization, a man unconsciously transformed into symbols objects and forms of the world around him and used these symbols, both in religion and in fine arts.
Despite its ancient roots, art therapy, as an independent direction in therapeutic and preventive work, has only a few decades. Conditions for its development began to appear at the end of the XX century, along with interest in children's and primitive art. Spontaneous expression of one's emotions, sincerity not constrained by the framework of conventionality, creativity itself, and not a realistic assessment of the artist's professionalism by the audience - that is what is important for both art and art therapy.
She gained the most popularity in the middle of the XX century. The term "ART-THERAPY" means treatment with plastic arts to express a person's psycho-emotional state.
The term was first used by Adrian Hill in 1938 to describe his work with TB patients in sanatoriums. The term was then used to refer to all forms of art therapy (music therapy, drama therapy, dance therapy, etc.).
Recent years have become a time of rapid development of psychotherapy and active mastering of its new forms and models. Art therapy has aroused great interest among specialists and potential clients.
