Way Of Thinking

Оглавление

Hello, dear friend!

The problem of our way of thinking: There is not only "GOOD" or "BAD".

Have you ever thought about certain motivations of your diet?

One thing keeps falling to mind over and over again:

Someone spreads a new hype, a recommendation, a life philosophy or whatever; another person tries it out, feels it good and spreads it on as well. Like wildfire, these trends are now making their way and bringing more and more people along.

Ok, but the message behind it always bothers me a bit:

This and that recommendation is just as good for you as it is for me.

So that means yes, that all recommendations for ALL and EVER have the same meaning? Aha? Since sometimes I ask myself, how can this be, because I know that each one of us is a separate, unique individual with different needs.

Surely you also know such sentences or theses:

  • Eat less carbohydrates - no, eat less fat
  • Do not eat more than one egg a week, eggs are bad for your cholesterol level
  • Just eat more light meat - are you crazy, you get cancer from meat ...
  • Drink a green smoothie every day, that works wonders ....
  • You can only eat more raw food, otherwise your body can not absorb vitamins
  • You have to eat whole grains, which are good for your digestion
  • Drink a glass of orange juice every day, which strengthens your body's defenses

etc.

In addition, there are more and more groups that recommend and spread their philosophy of life and health:

Vitamin capsules and pills are highly praised; certain vitamins and minerals are taken in high doses; certain diets are touted as "the only truths"; some do not eat carbohydrates; the others no meat or even animal products; etc.

Have you ever been in contact with such people - or even come into conflict? The problem is often, these people think that ONLY their product / their recommendation is the only right thing and everything else is evil, is made bad, has no sense, harms you and does not work anyway.

Question your personal nutritional status.

Do you also do some things - in the opinion of doing something good for you - because this or that person found it so great and important? Attempts to find sources of error if necessary:

Are not you eating fat because you think it's unhealthy? Do you use the right fats?

Do not you eat carbohydrates because you think they're going to make you fat?

Do you regularly take vitamin pills to you, in the belief that your body can be optimally supplied with all nutrients?

Do you forgo meat, and perhaps even animal products altogether, because you have heard that this should be healthier for your body?

Do you drink your smoothie / turmeric latte / bullet proof coffee / green tea / freshly squeezed orange juice / ginger water every day, because everyone does it now and can it only be healthy?

Or do you eat too little, because you think that you can lose weight like that?

Do you take special care to eat a lot of whole grains, raw vegetables, salads and dairy products, as this is generally recommended?

Maybe the one or the other point applies to you and you now think that you still feel great (or because of that).

Ask yourself if you are really well with that:

Are you fit and vital?

Do you have enough energy? Or do you feel tired and impotent?

Can you concentrate well?

Are you balanced and calm or slightly nervous / are you easily angered?

Can you sleep well and feel well rested?

Are you freezing or do you always have a snuff nose?

Does your digestion fit? Do you often have abdominal pain or flatulence?

Do you have sparkling hair and beautiful skin that is not dry even without cream?

Do you enjoy general health? Or are there always small (or bigger) construction sites that are bothering you?

If everything is still fine now, that's fine. Then maybe that will suit you (right now) the way it is. But if you notice any changes, then I would advise you to rethink the whole thing again.

The problem is that we hear something and then think that we have to exaggerate it - because it is so healthy. Then we eat garlic EVERY day, drink a ginger water EVERY day or take our milk products to us EVERY day. It may be that this has a positive effect on our general condition at first. But in the long run, that will do us more harm than good. Because as we know, the dose still makes the poison;)

Therefore, today's tip for you:

Well-meaning advice may not always give you too much importance. Especially when new miracle remedies that help against anything or nutritional forms of speech, you should be particularly alert. Try to say goodbye to the black and white thinking and find YOUR middle ground.

Hope, this was helpful.

In this sense -

all the Best!
