1st menstrual phase:

The bleeding phase ranges from 4 to 6 days, but should not exceed 7 days! During this time the blood flows downwards and outwards. The amount of blood should not exceed 30 - 80 ml / day (with the help of bandages or by using the menstrual cup you can make it clear)

The nature of the blood tells us much about the state of health: it should be initially red, slightly lighter and then it gets darker. It contains no lumps, nor does it smell particularly noticeable, it is neither watery nor slimy.

2. Postmenstrual phase:

About seven days after the onset of the period, the blood flow stops and the blood begins to regrow.

Now the body has to make more blood again to replenish the blood and yin deficiency. A big advantage for the woman, however, is that the body is detoxified by the menstruation.

3rd cycle center:

Blood and Yin now fill up until they are back in normal fullness. The Yang Qi starts to grow - that means it comes to ovulation. At the same time, the Yin begins to pull the blood and energy vigorously down and inside the uterus. Actually, the body is already starting to prepare for a possible pregnancy!

4. Premenstrual phase:

Qi = energy and blood are at their fullest and the yang qi has risen - that's why the heat in the body is greatest at this time. The liver energy is moving and this is important so that the liver blood can move and does not stagnate. (This would cause symptoms like pain, PMS, etc.)

Qi and blood concentrate and then collect down, inside the uterus, until after about 28 days so much blood has accumulated that the uterine vessel overflows and the blood is eliminated as menstruation.

Then the cycle begins again.

By the way, the normal onset of menopause is around 50 years old, before the age of 35 it would be too early!

Normally you should feel only a slight pull down - and nothing else. All other symptoms indicate an imbalance in your body!
