Hello, dear nutrition-conscious person, today we will talk about cooked food and why it is so important.

I am not a supporter of raw food only. Nowadays, many nutritionists recommend raw fruits and vegetables - as healthy - generally for everyone and in virtually unlimited quantities.

In fact, however, the - although abundant - vital substances in raw food are often not properly absorbed by our organism. The splitting of the plant parts is often too expensive for the body and requires too much energy.

Even though there are fewer vitamins in cooked vegetables, they are better absorbed and absorbed in less strenuous "work".

Note: "cooked" does not mean that we should cook the food for a long time. Fruit or vegetables are cooked rather gently - they are steamed or stewed.

On the other hand, if the digestive system is too weak, we only absorb very little of the beneficial phytonutrients and indigestible bulks accumulate in the body when we consume too much raw food. This slag hinders the digestive organs as a result, which can cause health problems. Too much cooling food also makes us feel tired and cold.

Raw fruits, vegetables and even cereals (eg flakes) have a cooling and moisturizing effect on the organism. In some cases this is also desired, but the need is dependent on a person's constitution and external circumstances.

Why it is so important to eat cooked meals

With warm food, the body can get more energy from the food than it needs for the digestive process. Exactly the opposite is the case with chilling foods such as raw fruits, citrus fruits, raw vegetables, carbonated drinks, dairy products. Here, our organism needs more energy for the digestive process to split the raw, cooling food and warm the body. This energy is then missing to compensate for dysbalances resulting in different symptoms and clinical pictures.

Hot breakfast

Many people are probably wondering what I mean under a hot breakfast and how to implement it. Most people in our area know only a variety of delicacies such as bread and jam or honey jam. For some it even sounds crazy to eat sausage and cheese in the morning.

The nutrition-conscious among us eat yogurt with fruit, wholegrain bread, raw vegetables and cereals. Why all this is controversial, I already have already explained. Now I'm going to explain why different types of breakfast are so important to us.

The nutrition experts all agree:
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day!

Our body constantly burns energy.

As soon as we are awake, our organism is working. We need energy to wash and dress - to move, to work and to think.

As a rule, people sleep from six to eight hours a day, and during this time they get no food and nutrients. The whole body is therefore under nutritional needs.

In other words, if we do not feed ourselves now, then we will spend the whole day only very low - on "low flame" drive.

The reason why the body without breakfast works on "low flame" is because it thinks:

Ok, as soon as I'm awake, I do not get any food so I have to shut down the metabolism to save the energy. In the worst case, we will even gain weight because our body begins to bunker as soon as it finally gets food. After all, it does not know when it receives the next energy supply that he needs to master everyday life!

If we do not have breakfast extensively, the first concentration low is already waiting after a short time, the body rebels and demands fresh energy.

The same thing happens when we have "the wrong thing". Therefore, the right choice of food depending on the metabolic type is of particular importance.

The usual breakfast options such as bread with jam, honey or Nutella, as well as cornflakes or cereals with many dried fruits are similar to desserts and literally overload the body with carbohydrates! If the start of the day turns out to be sweet, the hoped-for lasting energy, saturation and good mood are often missing.

Think about what your breakfast looks like. How do you feel in the morning? Are you hungry or lacking the necessary energy for your work? Do you often get tired in the afternoon? These are all signs that your breakfast was not suitable for you!

No matter what metabolic type you are, the necessary protein and fat requirement is usually not covered at breakfast.

For this reason, long-lasting concentration, satiety, vitality and good mood are unfortunately often in short supply.

Try different breakfast options in the future and change the proportion of macronutrients and then pay attention to how you feel.
