Vocation

Many people are looking for their passion, their very real business, vocation. They don’t have a feeling that something important and correct is happening in their life, what is called life. About what in old age it can be said that life lived, and did not wait for its end.

There is a small but important secret here. If you have such a thought about calling and you are looking for the answer to the question of what you really need in life and what will capture you with your head ... it means that you have no passion. Not now. The brain delves into its own experience and finds nothing good there. And all this torment in search of a vocation and a “real business” is his creative work to mold something new from what was. However, what kind of building materials does the brain have there? From what will he create something?

In general, in most cases, he has very little suitable material for construction. Those. people often in this state assess what is available as unsuitable. A man looks around his criticism of experience with a look of disgust and says: “This is all I do not need. That's all I don't want anymore.

So where do you get the right materials from? From 2 sources.

1. Do not cast aside all your past experience as illiquid. Very often it is put into a routine and depreciated. What is every day lying near the nose ceases to be desirable and interesting. What you can give for 20 years is no longer considered an achievement. But if all this does not shine in your mind with a firebird, it does not mean that it is useless in the future.

In addition, we pretty often quickly remove from the field of view the positive experience, and the events that made us happy, of which we were proud. People build their lives out of problems. And not because they are so boring beeches. Simply, problems are life's difficulties, adverse environmental conditions that we overcome. Overcome? Stacked in the luggage section of the long-term memory. From these "overcoming" life is built. But when this brick of experience is just one of many in the wall, it ceases to be rated as something important. Although, without it, everything would have collapsed.

2. Yes, it is perfectly understandable and expected that you may be sorely lacking in building materials in order to build something qualitatively new. Well, it cannot be that you know everything in this world! Even if you consider your experience rich and diverse, it does not mean at all that you cannot make it more rich and diverse. It is not necessary at all that everything that falls into your field of vision is suitable. Sometimes, to find gold, you need to sift a ton of earth. But if you don’t sift it, then you definitely won’t find gold.

So how do you select building materials:

1. Write a list of what you like. Those. all that comes to mind. No need to sit and chew the tip of a pen to immediately find the answer to the most important question of life. Allow the brain to ask for a “like” everything that it has. It doesn’t matter that it can be some kind of completely non-life-changing thing. They may be useful, but may not be useful. The main thing here is to teach the brain to find the right one for your needs. Leave the list open. In the process of finding yourself, new “likes” will appear that are worth considering

2. Create a thank you journal. Often people start bargaining a lot about this. Many people think that everything around is so bad that it’s just not worthy of a good word. But, as a rule, if you don’t appreciate something from the positive side, here, you simply don’t see it at all, then you cannot correctly and adequately evaluate it. If, however, you find the strength to look out of the corner of your eye on the positive aspects of any phenomenon, then you will feel that you can rely on some of the bricks of your experience. And even use them in the current construction site.

3. Affirmations. Have you tried everything? It doesn’t work at all. Probably, almost everyone at least once said to his reflection in the mirror something like "I'm the most charming and attractive ...". Affirmations should be yours, those that inspire you, and not the author of a self-help book. Look for them for yourself, see what hurts you in a positive sense. What own and other people's thoughts shocked you, where did you sit down a reflection of your own experiences and problems.

4. Make yourself a “creative board" or an album where you write ideas, glue pictures, write about your impressions and thoughts.

5. Remember yourself in 10-12 years. What did you do then that you loved. This does not mean that your childhood hobby is your passion. Just at this age, the child is already consciously, but still quite creatively and freely gaining experience and building new towers and cities from his experience and imagination. Memories of childhood can be the path to this resource state, which will help to reach a new level in solving the current problem.

6. Try everything you like and want to try sometime. Any experience is valuable and useful.

7. Someone said: “Think that you are most angry, most sad and happy. This is your passion and recognition. ” I agree with this phrase and suggest that you also think about it. Perhaps this will give some ideas.

This is all new building material, new resources for building, something that can truly become your passion.
